Kathe Nagy – Office Manager
Kathe came to Reidsville in 2004 as a receptionist. It didn’t take long for us to see her talent and promote her to the Office Manager position. Kathe has many years of experience in the veterinary field. She has been a veterinary assistant and held management positions in major retail companies. She earned her degree in accounting and uses her skills to keep our client accounts in good order. Kathe loves all animals but holds a special place in her heart for kitties!
Anita Johnson – Kennel Manager

Anita has a way with even the most difficult dogs and knows the likes and dislikes of our frequent visitors by heart. Rest assured if your pet is boarding with us – Anita is watching over them like her own.
JoLynn Athorp – Groomer
JoLynn Althop is our resident groomer. She was raised in Wisconsin. In 2001, she chose to leave the cold weather and head south to N.C. She has been with our team for the past 6 years. Jolynn got her start in grooming over 20 years ago with her own show dogs. Being in the show circuit has afforded her the opportunity to continually learn and better hone her grooming skills and knowledge from some of the worlds top breeders and handlers. Not only does she have a natural talent for grooming, but she also has the patience and compassion needed to work with our beloved pets. She strives to make the pet’s experience comfortable and non-stressful. Her vast knowledge and ability to train dogs (she has helped numerous dogs receive obedience titles) is instrumental in making their grooming experience here at Reidsville Veterinary Hospital an enjoyable one.
On a personal note, JoLynn breeds and exhibits champion Irish Setters. She has also recently started working with English Setters. She is an active member of the Irish Setter Club of America and the Central Carolina English Setter Club.
JoLynn is a cherished member of our team. She recognizes that grooming is a routine part of owning a pet and should be done regularly to keep them happy and healthy. She also firmly believes that brushing a pet can be a rewarding and bonding experience for owners and their pets.
